Deloraine & Surrounds

Creative town, charming town, my home town…Deloraine.

Nestled beneath the Great Western Tiers in the Meander Valley sits a village with the wayarupi/Meander River running through the middle. The two sides of town are connected by this bridge, which was originally built of wood by convicts in 1831. As well as being the heart of the town, the river also sustains many animals, including geese, native hens, ducks and platypus.

I aim to photograph the other towns in the Meander Valley as time goes on; namely Westbury, Mole Creek, Hagley and Carrick.
